The Fetching Machine

You may have already seen this video, as it’s about four years old, but I saw it today for the first time, and it’s amazing, so I had to share it.

Oh, I totally want one of these for my dog. :-)   This dachshund sure seems to love it!

Monkday

It dawns on me that if Saturday is Caturday, and Sunday is Bunday, then isn’t Monday, in actuality, Monkday?

Well, here’s to celebrating In Otter News’ first Monkday!

Oh, and since it is Monday… I think our little monkey model isn’t quite ready for the week yet… he’s probably gotta a case of the Monkdays. :-D

Baby Hawk Takes First Flight

Happy World Environment Day

Today is World Environment Day, an annual event held on June 5th every year that is aimed at being the biggest and most widely celebrated global day for positive environmental action.

The World Environment Day celebration began in 1972 and has grown to become the one of the main vehicles through which the UN Environment Programme is able to personalize environmental issues and enable everyone to realize not only their responsibility, but also their power to become agents for change in support of sustainable and equitable development.

Everyone counts in this initiative and World Environment Day relies on you to make this happen! We call for action – organize a neighborhood clean-up, stop using plastic bags, plant a tree, walk or bike to work, use public transportation, start a recycling drive . . . the possibilities are endless.
