British Otters on the Rise

Not long ago Britain’s eurasian otters were all but wiped out by chemicals leaching into rivers, but luckily, they’ve made a comeback.

British wildlife photographer, Charlie Hamilton James, who has been photographing British otters for several decades now, has followed them obsessively as they have made their way back to health.  He has taken some amazing photography of these adorable otters, and the collection is being featured in February’s National Geographic.

Happy Ottersday ^_^
