The 2013 Iditarod sled dog race across 1,000 miles of snowy wilderness in Alaska, from Anchorage to the old gold rush town of Nome on Alaska’s western coast, started on Saturday. The footage that’s coming in from the race is stunning and awe-inspiring, and I mean, awwww-inspiring. ^_^
