A mother and baby elephant were in dire straits: trapped trunk-deep in a quicksand-like mud in the Kapani Lagoon, in Zambia, Africa; until luckily and amazingly enough, a Zambian research team found them and using ropes and a tractor, were able to rescue the elephants. Phew!
